Hyacinth Harley

Hyacinth Harley is an award-nominated founder, global HR executive, and social impact strategist with over 20 years of experience leading transformational initiatives across six countries. Her mission is clear: to restore dignity, unlock purpose, and help individuals move from surviving to leading.

In 2015, she launched Mover of Mountains in Manchester, UK, as a leadership development company that supports returning citizens and underserved youth. Under her direction, the organization quickly earned recognition, being shortlisted for Coaching Company of the Year within its first year. Today, Mover of Mountains has evolved into a U.S.-based nonprofit working at the intersection of trauma-informed care, workforce readiness, and community reinvention.

Hyacinth’s career includes founding a financial services enterprise that served clients in over 130 countries and holding C-suite positions in the U.K., Norway, and the U.S. She has led mental health campaigns at global summits, championed DEI in public and private sectors, and mentored over 1,000 individuals, including formerly incarcerated adults, survivors of addiction, and youth navigating complex systems.

Alongside her professional journey, Hyacinth has served in church leadership for over 15 years. Her faith in Jesus Christ is not only personal, it’s foundational. The programs at Mover of Mountains Nonprofit Corporation are grounded in Christ’s call to love, to serve, and to restore. That belief is the cornerstone of everything the organization builds: safe spaces, second chances, and sustainable transformation.

She currently serves on the boards of Say Something (Norway) and the J.A. and B Organisation (U.S.), and is known for her ability to build ecosystems of healing, growth, and opportunity wherever she leads.
